THE PROGRAM IS SET! Thanks to our sponsors and entertainers. Ice arrives at 5:30 & Live Music wirh Garvey begins. Ice Carving begins at 6:00pm. Fire Show at 6:45. Free hot chocolate! Marshmallow roast supervised by Boy Scouts 5:30-7:00. Watch for sales and food and drink specials all along the street following the show. All are welcome- Great free event for young and old! All along Mill Street in historic Bristol Borough.

Twenty Feet from Stardom Documentary

The backup singer exists in a strange place in the pop music world; they are always in the shadow of the feature artists even when they are in front of them in concert while they provide a vital foundation for the music. Twenty Feet from Stardom explores the history of these predominately African American singers through interviews with veterans and concert footage. Special focus is given to special standouts who endeavored to make a living in the art burdened with a low profile and more personal career frustrations, especially those who faced the very different challenge of singing in the spotlight themselves. Doors open at 7 PM and the film starts at 7:30 PM. The Newtown Theatre
