Please join the Newtown Bookshop on Saturday, January 14th, 11:00pm to 12:30pm as we welcome Amy Neeren, PhD featuring her children's book "Nellie in Knots"!  Amy will be meeting guests and signing her books!  In this book, author-psychologist Amy Neeren, PhD, weaves in practical tips and practices to help kids take control of worry thoughts of their own.

Fire and Frost Fun

From 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, January 6 & 7, 13 & 14, enjoy live fire artistry and ice carving demonstrations, fire pits, outdoor food and drinks, and a Village-wide display of over 30 ice sculptures (including an Ice Throne made perfect for selfies). With a live DJ and larger-than-life Jack Frost, these are the last weekends of the holiday light display, so don’t miss your chance to visit what 6ABC called “the most Instagrammable spot in Philadelphia”!

Free admission and parking.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
5:00-8:00 p.m.
Don’t forget to Find Jack Frost, a family-friendly, Village-wide scavenger hunt in which children can win prizes (including the chance to be entered into a drawing for a free dinner for four at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant!). To participate in the scavenger hunt, check-in at the outdoor Hospitality Booth near the Village Green.

There is nothing like a fast-paced high energy ice sculpture display! Watch forms appear before your eyes as ice carving artists from Ice Concepts sculpt blocks of ice.

Fire Artistry
5:15 p.m., Village Green (Four shows; every 45 min.)
Performers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts & Airplay will dazzle with fire artistry including fire breathing, spinning, and juggling.

Owl Prowl

Enjoy an evening learning about the owls that make Honey Hollow their home. We’ll have a short presentation about the Owls of the Delaware Valley Saturday January 14 at 7pm followed by a night hike to try to call the owls to us. Dress warmly, wear sturdy boots or shoes and bring a flashlight/headlamp. $5 members, $10 non-members.
