A holiday tradition since 1984! The Gingerbread Competition and Display at Peddler’s Village is a feast for the eyes with more than 100 creative and whimsical entries crafted by the public in different categories. The gingerbread entries will be on exhibit during shopping hours hrough January 8, 2023 in the Visitor & Event Center. Admission is free.

Bird Walk

Traversing the "10 Crucial Days” Bus Tour

Take a ride through history on the “Traversing the 10 Crucial Days” bus tour!

You’ll spend the day retracing the December 25 crossing of the Delaware and the American and British military engagements that followed at Trenton, Princeton and areas in-between from December 26, 1776 through January 3, 1777.

This public bus tour will be offered on will be offered on December 4th and December 10th, 2022 and January 7th, 2023 from 9 AM to 5 PM. The tour begins and ends at Washington Crossing, PA.

Historical interpreters Roger Williams and Larry Kidder will tell the remarkable story of the 10 days that breathed crucial new life into the American Revolution. The events are discussed in the context of the local, strategically important central New Jersey towns, villages, and farms.

Fire and Frost Fun

From 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, January 6 & 7, 13 & 14, enjoy live fire artistry and ice carving demonstrations, fire pits, outdoor food and drinks, and a Village-wide display of over 30 ice sculptures (including an Ice Throne made perfect for selfies). With a live DJ and larger-than-life Jack Frost, these are the last weekends of the holiday light display, so don’t miss your chance to visit what 6ABC called “the most Instagrammable spot in Philadelphia”!

Free admission and parking.

LIVE ENTERTAINMENT
5:00-8:00 p.m.
Don’t forget to Find Jack Frost, a family-friendly, Village-wide scavenger hunt in which children can win prizes (including the chance to be entered into a drawing for a free dinner for four at Cock ‘n Bull Restaurant!). To participate in the scavenger hunt, check-in at the outdoor Hospitality Booth near the Village Green.

There is nothing like a fast-paced high energy ice sculpture display! Watch forms appear before your eyes as ice carving artists from Ice Concepts sculpt blocks of ice.

Fire Artistry
5:15 p.m., Village Green (Four shows; every 45 min.)
Performers from the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts & Airplay will dazzle with fire artistry including fire breathing, spinning, and juggling.
