Boundless Love: A Tribute to John Prine
Saturday November 26, 2022
Come sing along and tip your glass to the late great John Prine as we spend a very special evening paying tribute to his life and music. This one-night-only concert will feature The Handsome Johnnys as the house band (Phil D’Agostino on bass, Brad Hinton on guitar and Daniel Bower on drums) and a host of special guests who will be announced as we confirm them. Prine, a two-time Grammy winner who is widely considered one of the greatest folk singer-songwriters of all time, passed away in 2020 at the age of 73. He was known for his raspy voice, simple guitar strumming, and his heartfelt, cutting and often hilarious lyrics. 8pm to 10pm at The Newtown Theatre, 120 North State Street Newtown, PA https://www.thenewtowntheatre.com/events/2022/11/26/john-prine
