Hicks Art Center Gallery is thrilled to present Karl Carter A Retrospective, the first major gallery survey of Carter’s work. Spanning the last 40 years, the works in the exhibition range from biomorphic abstract wood and art glass sculptures to exuberantly colored functional tableware and lighting. .The exhibit will remain through December 16, 2022. 2022 HiTOPS Princeton Half Marathon

Join us for the highlight event of the season on an iconic course in the heart of Princeton! In Person Half Marathon Sunday, November 13th, 2022. 7 AM Start, Paul Robeson Place, Princeton. Iconic course located entirely in the heart of historic Princeton. Run through Princeton Battlefield, Institute for Advanced Study, past the home of Einstein, Princeton University, the Princeton Boathouse on Lake Carnegie Westminster Choir College, Mount Lucas and Herrontown Woods. Receive a commemorative medal, shirt, and bib. USATF certified Grand Prix Event. Participants cannot exceed a 14 minute per mile pace. Limited field of 1,800 runners. FREE Art in the Park for Children + Adults All are welcome. Art materials will be available for free, but artists are welcome to bring supplies from home, too! DATE: Sunday, November 13, 2022 TIME: 12 - 2 pm ART IN THE PARK LOCATION Tyler Park Playground, Boardwalk Lot, 101 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA 18940 (Look for the art easel near the playground within the park.) Drop in anytime to draw and/or paint. At 2 pm, we will return to the Newtown Bookshop (5-minute drive from the park) to share our art and celebrate the day. You can order One Thursday Afternoon from the Newtown Bookshop ahead of time and pick it up on the event day to be signed. 2022 AOY Art Center Fine Craft Show

The return of the Fine Crafts Show featuring pottery, jewelry, wearable art and more by AOY member artisans. AOY holds a bake sale and raffle at this event as well. Fall Musical, 'Guys and Dolls', Villa Joseph Marie High School

Nov 10 -13 Hailed as the perfect musical comedy, this award-winning classic gambles with luck and love under the bright lights of Broadway. Considered by many to be the perfect musical comedy, Guys and Dolls ran for 1,200 performances when it opened on Broadway in 1950. Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.
