Kiss the Ground Screening

The historic Newtown Theatre will screen the documentary “Kiss the Ground" on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:30 PM, in partnership with Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve.

Narrated by Woody Harrelson, Kiss the Ground is a full-length documentary that sheds light on a “new, old approach” to farming called regenerative agriculture, a practice with the extraordinary ability to balance our climate, replenish our vast water supplies, and feed the world.
Following the movie, Stephanie Murphy, PhD, director of the Rutgers University Soil Testing Laboratory, will be available for a Q&A session.

Murphy has 17 years of experience in soil science research and teaching. She earned a bachelor's degree in soil science research from Ohio State University, a master’s degree in soil management and conservation from Purdue University, and a PhD in soil biophysics from Michigan State University.
