Northampton Parks & Rec Fishing Derby

8:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Bring a fishing pole and bucket. No experience needed.  Each child will receive an official fishing derby kit and cup of bait. 

Note:  Refreshments or snacks may not be offered if additional Covid protocols are in place a the time of this event.  Please be prepared to bring your own.

Children age 15 and under do not need a license.  All anglers 16 years of age and older are required to have a valid fishing license.  Bring a bucket to carry the fish to the weigh station where they will be measured and recorded for prizes. 
*This is a catch and release program*

Expert fisherman from Langhorne Rod and Gun Club will be on hand to provide great tips for fishing success.

Silver Lake Nature Center Volunteer Work Day

Volunteer Work Days are held on the First Saturday of Most Months. (For this month , it is on the second Saturday due to the Holiday on 1-1-22.)
Help us maintain our grounds! Be prepared to get wet and dirty. Wear your mask and bring a refillable water bottle. This event is Rain or Shine.

Newtown Historic Association’s Spring Garden Cocktail Gala

Join your friends and neighbors and enjoy a beautiful evening wandering among the gardens and sipping a glass of wine at the Newtown Historic Association’s Spring Garden Cocktail Gala.

The party is from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with hors d’oeuvres served along with wine, beer, and a few fun cocktails.

Tickets are $45 per person for Members and $50 per person for Non-members and are available on the NHA website.
