Through a colorful tapestry of iconic songs and witty personal storytelling, Carter Calvert uses her own award-winning vocal talents to create this captivating musical tribute. Miss Calvert, a Broadway star and title character in Always…Patsy Cline (opposite Emmy Award winner Sally Struthers), has gained rave reviews and triumphant accolades for her heartfelt portrayal of this legendary country recording artist. She vocally captures Patsy Cline’s musical stylings pitch- perfectly in mega hits including “Crazy,” “I Fall To Pieces,” “She’s Got You” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.” Both captivating and endearing, this fast-paced entertainment delights audiences of all ages. Note: This show is being sold at full capacity.  Masks must be worn. Autumn Market & Encampment, Washington Crossing Park

Travel back in time and experience life in a Revolutionary War camp during Washington Crossing Historic Park’s annual Autumn Encampment & Market on Saturday, October 16, from 10 AM to 4 PM.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free members, active duty military, and children under five. A family ticket is available for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 living in the same household.

What To Expect
At Autumn Market & Encampment, colonial townspeople gather at their marketplace in the Historic Village area of the park to sell their wares. Soldiers drill 18th-century military tactics, and the park’s fife and drum corps will perform throughout the day.

Families will enjoy a wide array of activities including crafts, cooking demonstrations, tours of historic buildings, and one-on-one interaction with colonial reenactors.

This event will be held rain or shine. 


Crafts in the Meadow Fall Invitational Craft Show

The Crafts in the Meadow Fall Invitational Craft Show is a fine art and craft event showcasing excellence in craftsmanship alongside a festive weekend of live music, performing arts, and refreshments. Lecture with Dr. Matthew Costello: The Property of the Nation

In partnership with the Friends of Washington Crossing Park Dr. Matthew Costello, senior historian of the White House Historical Association, will give a free lecture in Washington Crossing Historic Park's Visitor Center auditorium on Sunday, October 17 at 1:30 PM. This event will be held virtually via Zoom, NOT in-person.

Costello's lecture will focus on his 2019 book, The Property of the Nation: George Washington's Tomb, Mount Vernon and the Memory of the First President, which was a 2020 George Washington Prize Finalist.

The lecture is free, but registration is required online

Ahead of the Curve, Logan Inn's Screening Room- Two Shows

On Sunday, October 17, New Hope Celebrates History will premiere the bio-documentary Ahead of the Curve at the Logan Inn's screening room. This will be the first film for the newly renovated Logan Inn, complete with plush theatre seating and a concession stand.
Ahead of the Curve chronicles the life of Franco Stevens, founder of Curve, the most successful lesbian magazine ever published in the 1990s. The film follows Franco on her journey through times of joy and strength in overcoming a disabling injury. Ahead of the Curve looks at queer women working in the community from the 1990s to the present and Franco's ever-present commitment to them in this inspiring film of courage.
The film will be shown at 2:00 PM and 5:00PM at the Logan Inn, 10 West Ferry St. New Hope, PA. Both showings have limited seating. Tickets are $15.00 per ticket.

Guided Walking Tour of Downtown Yardley

See Yardley’s historic structures and imagine the downtown’s past.  Join Charlie Thomforde and Carol Such for an enlightening stroll down Afton Avenue, Canal Street and South Main Street.  Back at the Old Library, view old photos of the buildings seen on the tour.
