Central Bucks Bicycle Club 40th Covered Bridges Ride

Travel through historic covered bridges on the CBBC Covered Bridges Ride. Enjoy the fall foliage of central and upper Bucks County, and visit up to six historic covered bridges. Choose from five gorgeous rides: flat, family-friendly 20 and 30 mile routes along the Delaware River or challenging hilly 34, 50 or 63 mile routes.

All rides are well-marked and fully supported. Enjoy great rest stops with snacks, baked goods, fresh fruit, water and sports drink.

A tasty lunch awaits you at the finish line in the park. Register

On Sunday, October 10, 2021 - World Mental Health Day - we walk to spread hope, raise awareness, and end stigma!

Our 7th Annual NAMI Bucks County Stride for Mental Health Awareness will draw hundreds of people to Warminster Community Park.

Walking Tour of Tyler Park

This annual event is designed as a self-guided walking tour of the historic properties and farmhouses scattered throughout the Tyler State Park grounds. This year, the self-guided tour will begin at 10am at the Boathouse Pavilion on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 and again on Sunday, October 10th, 2021.

As part of this ticketed event, representatives from both the Newtown Historic Association and the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources will be on hand to provide a general overview and answer questions at the beginning of each day.

All registrants will receive an informative Tyler Park historical book. This limited-edition, 100-page book contains rare photographs and detailed descriptions of the many historic properties and farmhouses, including the construction of the Tyler mansion, and how they were acquired by the Tyler family in the early 1900s.

The Amazing Pumpkin Carve - Drive-Thru!

The 7th Annual Amazing Pumpkin Carve, presented by the Hopewell Valley
Arts Council, is spectacular art and (not too) spooky drive-thru of
Halloween fun from Wednesday, October 6 to Sunday, October 10 at Woolsey
Park in Hopewell Township. Forty colossal pumpkins will be carved and
electrified by many of the area’s most talented artists and displayed
in a twinkling drive-thru. Smiling skulls, goopy ghouls, and even a
giant crow are only a few of the cool creatures carved by artists in
recent years. Enjoy this annual tradition from the comfort and safety of
your car!
