Help with the 35th Annual Donald Jones Flag Memorial

9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

35th Donald W Jones Flag Memorial presented by Delaware Valley Vietnam Veterans An inspirational display of over 65,000 American Flags in the shape and size of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington, DC. Each flag representing an American.

We originally focused on the Vietnam Era but have since moved to recognize all Veterans and POW/MIA's. There is a second memorial representing present the most recent conflicts. The main task is the placement of flags in a large diamond-like shape. We setup the outline and the flags are placed inside with a black field in the center representing those still unaccounted for.

Friday June 11th
Show up at Falls Township Park at 9:00 AM and help us place them in the ground. Rain or shine. Work ends when all are placed. Bring friends the more the merrier.

Saturday June 12th
Free concert and day of reflection 12 pm till done

Bands to be announced.

Sunday June 13th

12:00 PM Motorcycle Run from Bristol Township Bldg to Falls Park. Ceremonies begin after motorcycle arrival. Speeches, salute, and a conversion of the number of black POW flags to American flags for all who have been recovered since last year. Then about ½ hour after ceremony we replace all flags back in totes.

Yardley and Newtown Plein Air Painters Exhibit

Our Towns through an Artist's Eye is a Celebration of Yardley and Newtown, Bucks County by plein air painters. The opening weekend, Memorial Day, will feature plein air paintings done over the previous two weeks and judging by national renowned plein

UnWined at Shady Brook Farm Wine Concert

The party’s on the festival field at Shady Brook Farm on Friday nights all summer long and you’re invited! Enjoy live music by amazing bands in the Festival Field every Friday evening (& two special Saturdays). Bring the whole family…we’ve got lots of activities for the kiddos, lawn games, food, drinks & fun!

No outside food or drinks permitted. We have 3 beer gardens and some terrific food & beverage vendors located throughout the Festival Field with something for every palate. Kid's activities and giant sized lawn games are included.

Christy Altomare, Bucks County Playhouse

Bucks County native, Pennsbury Graduate and Broadway Star Christy Altomare will return home to give concerts on Thursday, June 10 at 7:30 pm and Friday, June 11 at 8 pm. Altomare originated the role of Anya in the Broadway production of “Anastasia” for which she received the Theatre World Award and was nominated for an Outer Critics Award and a Drama Desk Award for lead actress in a musical. She made her Broadway debut playing the role of Sophie Sheridan in “Mamma Mia!.”

Six virtuosic voices united in crystal clear harmony, against a backdrop of syncopated rhythms, innovative arrangements, and funky grooves that bubble into an intoxicating brew of gospel, jazz, R&B, and pop.

Join the Bristol Riverside Theatre at Bristol Township’s brand-new outdoor amphitheater June 11 & 12 at 8pm!

General admission. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket. Chairs and blankets available for purchase on-site.

NO alcohol permitted.

Masks required. Please socially distance.

Food trucks will be on-premises.

All sales are final. No refunds. If a show is cancelled and unable to be rescheduled, a full refund will be offered.

The concert will take place at Bristol Township’s brand-new amphitheater at 2501 Bath Road, Bristol, PA
