Delaware River Towns 11th Annual Restaurant Week

For the 11th Anniversary, participating restaurants are expanding to showcase their chefs, local farmers, brewers, winemakers, and more! Whether you are seeking fine or casual dining, international or local fare, there is something for everyone!
A special fine-dining menu or a prix fixe casual-dining menu will be offered by restaurants from  Lumberville, Lambertville, Lahaska, New Hope, Stockton, and Washington Crossing during the five-day celebration of the Delaware River Towns’ best eateries.

From March 1st-5th, all are invited to leap into and experience the very best of the Delaware River Towns.

Afternoon Tea with Martha Hall Kelly

The Newtown Bookshop is thrilled to host New York Times Bestselling author, Martha Hall Kelly at the Free Library of Northampton Township on Friday, March 6th at 2:00pm with an Afternoon Tea!   Martha will be featuring her historical novel, "Lost Roses", which is new in paperback.  After speaking she will be signing books.  This is a ticketed event. 

$19 Ticket includes admission for one to our afternoon tea and one paperback copy of the book "LOST ROSES".

Only Books purchased at the Newtown Bookshop will be able to be signed.

Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early in order to check in and receive a copy of your book.

Whether you’re a novice in the kitchen or a master of the culinary arts, you’ll be sure to enjoy every moment of your Culinary Workshop class experience. Adult Culinary Workshops are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7th & March 6th from 6p-8p. 

$25 per guest.

Celebrate Art Opening Reception

Join us when students from Bristol High School and Harry S. Truman High School join the Artists of Bristol on the Delaware (AOB) in an annual exhibit titled, Celebrate Art!, at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library. 
The public is invited to the exhibit opening reception on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 6 pm to 8 pm; the exhibit continues through Friday, April 3, 2020.

During the four-week exhibit, the public has the opportunity to cast votes for the People’s Choice Award for both the student and AOB categories, as well as to purchase art. This free exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours, Monday through Thursday 10 am - 8 pm and Friday and Saturday 10 am - 4 pm. “Tootsie” – March 6 at 7:30 p.m. Part of the theatre’s monthly classic series, “Tootsie” stars Dustin Hoffman as an unsuccessful actor who disguises himself as a woman to land a role on a daytime soap opera.
