Come on downtown for 2nd Annual #ChocolateCrawl at the #LoveYardley-themed 2nd Saturday Yardley on 2/8, supported by Visit Bucks County and Commonplace Reader Yardley! 

So, yes, come out to stroll around and experience Yardley's food and beverage options, specialty retail, and wellness services, most offering some kind of chocolate-related item or activity!  On the #ChocolateCrawl there will be chocolate food and beverage, chocolate sampling or tastings, and other activities having to do with chocolate! 

THEN, at *each* participating business or organization you visit or purchase from on 2/8, you can enter a raffle to win a #LoveYardley gift basket, with three winners picked out in time for Valentine's Day!  You can enter only *once at each location*, so visit as many as possible during their opening hours to increase your chance of winning!

For $5, visit 20 participating businesses and try a unique piece of chocolate at each. Those who visit at least 10 stores (be sure to get your ticket punched at each location) are entered into a drawing to win $250.

Five restaurants – Itri Wood Fired, King George II Inn, Mill Street Cantina, Annabella’s and Akia Japanese Fusion – will offer discounts on items such as chocolate martinis and desserts.

“Snow Moon” Towpath Trek

Join the Friends of the Delaware Canal on Saturday, February 8, for a walk along the towpath to see the full "Snow Moon" rise above the hills of New Jersey and the Delaware River.  The walk will begin at 5 p.m. in the parking area between the Canal and River in the northern section of Washington Crossing Historic Park ,1635 River Road, New Hope, PA.    
State Park Educator Katie Martens and Susan Taylor, Executive Director of the Friends, will lead the moderately-paced, four-mile roundtrip hike.  On the way north, walkers will look and listen for nocturnal critters, then arrive at a vantage point by Wells Falls to watch the “Snow Moon” rising.  From there, they will see Locks 8, 9, 10 and the canal outlet to the River.  At Lock 11, hot cider, snacks will be waiting inside the historic Locktender’s House.   After warming up, it will be time to head back to the starting point.
A $5 contribution is requested for the “Snow Moon” Towpath Trek, which may be paid on the day of the event. It will be held weather permitting. It will be canceled in the event of rain, total cloud cover, or hazardous conditions. Check for a Go/No Go message that will be posted by noon on February 8th at

Please dress warmly in non-cotton layers, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a flashlight or headlamp, just in case.
