Annual Bluegrass and Blueberries Festival, July 20 and 21

Peddler’s Village will present its annual Bluegrass and Blueberries Festival on July 20 and 21, 2019. The weekend will include blueberry-themed food and beverages, live music, food trucks, and kids’ activities. Rain or shine, the festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Peddler's Village shops will
be open until 8 p.m. on Saturday. Admission and parking are free!


Newtown Antique & Classic Auto Show

This year’s annual Newtown Business Association Newtown Antique and Classic Auto Show will
be held on Sunday, July 21 st from 10am to 3pm on historic State Street in Newtown Borough, and will
feature over 160 Antique & Classic Autos, Trucks, Corvettes, cars of Special Interest, in all makes and
models from 1900 to 1994. This year’s special featured Marque car is Lincoln.
This festive event is attended by thousands of spectators, with trophies being awarded in
special marque categories and 12 additional classes, and appearances by the Newtown Arts Company
dressed in costume.

William Shakespeare’s romantic comic drama captivates on The Heritage Center Theatre stage in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.  Under the direction of Susan Barry, George Hartpence, Carol Thompson, Cat Miller and Matthew Duchnowski costar.   The spectacle also features Jacqueline Galli, Tristan Takacs, C. Jameson Bradley, Mort Paterson, Joseph Ryan, Joe Doyle, Tim Irvine, Micah McBride and more! Assistant directed by Ethan Cadoff.  Stage managed by Renée Root. Set design by George Hartpence.  Costumes by Debie Wells and Theresa Vassallo.  Lighting design by Andrena Wishnie.  Sound by Chris Root.

DATES:  July 12–28, 2019.  (Nine performances only)

In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920’s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady, and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don’t Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.”
