Intro to Kayaking Class. Saturday, July 6th, 9 -11am. This two hour class, led by Kayaking    Instructor, Melanie Pawlowski, introduces you to the parts of a kayak, how to hold and move a kayak paddle, how to enter and exit a kayak, ways to keep your balance while kayaking and, of course, how to get around on the water in a kayak. The Intro to Kayaking class takes place right on the waters of Silver Lake. Class size is limited. Pre-registration/payment is required (at least 2 days prior to program) in order to participate. REBELS & REDCOATS CLASSIC CAR SHOW

This unique show features only American, French, British and German cars, representing the four countries involved in the Revolutionary War. There is no fee to attend the event as a spectator. Cars from all years up to 1994 are welcome. Space is limited to the first 200 cars.  Winners will be announced at 1:30 PM. First, second and third prizes will be awarded for each country of origin (America, France, Britain, Germany). These prizes will be determined by peer judging.

Southampton Days County Fair

The Southampton Days Committee welcomes you to the 48th Annual Southampton Days Country Fair! The events of the week are planned for your enjoyment and we invite you to the free concerts in the Lions Grove Bandstand & Midway Stage, as well as the free children’s entertainment on the Midway Stage.  Special Week-Long amusement ride bands for $45 per person can be purchased at the Fair.

The big event will be celebrated this year on Thursday, July 4th, starting with the Sam Costantini Annual 4th of July Parade beginning at 9:30 AM followed by festivities in the Park and concluding with the annual fireworks display.

Moonlight Kayaking Excursion

This kayak excursion is for those who have kayaked at least once before. We will start at the edge of Silver Lake in Bristol PA and, once in the water, travel up Silver Lake into Magnolia Lake, where we will dock on the island in the middle. On the island, we will start a campfire and roast marshmallows. Afterwards, we will embark on our journey back, letting the moonlight guide our way. Each kayaker will be able to take in the lovely sights of Silver Lake bathed in moonlight. Space is very limited. Must be 18 years old to participate in this program. Pre-registration/payment is required (at least 2 days prior to program) in order to participate.
