Pastor Paul is about to preach a sermon that will shake the foundation of his congregation’s beliefs. The shocking revelation of his sermon has powerful consequences. For believers and non-believers alike, The Christians is a “terrific play about the mystery of faith, and how religion can tear people apart just as it can bring them together” (The New York Times).

In the tradition of Inherit the Wind, An Enemy of the People, and A Witness for the Prosecution, The Christians will feature local community members alongside professional actors.

Birding by Kayak on the Delaware Canal

Hosted by Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve and Delaware Canal State Park

We’re teaming up with Delaware Canal State Park for a gentle morning paddle on the Delaware Canal. We’ll learn about the history of the canal and look and listen for birds and other local wildlife during this relaxing paddle. We’ll put in at the canal near the Preserve. DCSP provides life vests, paddles, and kayaks. Details on meeting place will be provided upon registration.

Space is limited; advance registration and payment is required by May 2.

Battle of the Wilderness Civil War Reenactment May 4-5, 2019

At the Double Quick Civil War Events presents “No Turning Back!”, a  Reenactment of the 1864 Battle of the Wilderness that took place in Virginia.

Join us for this family-friendly event and walk through history in your own back yard as hundreds of Confederate and Union army troops reenact this brutal battle.  Soldiers and civilians will display period equipment and represent the various aspects of encampment life.

Sutlers will be on hand selling their 19th century wares, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.  

The event takes place on Saturday, May 4th from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday, May 5th from 9am to 3pm.  Spectator battles are planned each day at 1pm.

Admission is FREE!

Donations will be accepted for Battlefield Preservation.

EVENT HELD AT Warminster Community Park, Warminster PA

ALL VISITORS SHOULD ENTER AT THE EVENT GATE ENTRANCE ON BRISTOL ROAD ACROSS FROM HATBORO ROAD.
