Friday January 18, 2019
5:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Our annual Harry Potter Night takes place this Friday, January 18, from 5:30pm-9:30pm. The night will include a feast in the Great (Dining) Hall and a screening of the first film in the series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.  Highlights will include a warm welcome from Professor Dumbledore and a tour of Hogwarts led by Hagrid.  This tour will include a visit to the Room of Requirement (with seniors playing members of Dumbledore's Army).  Many other Hogwarts professors will be in attendance as well, and all parts will be played by Doane faculty and staff in full costume.  Attendees are also invited to come in Hogwarts regalia.

Beside the above events attendees are offered the option to sign-up for a circuit of three 15-minute sessions that will run during the middle part of the movie.  Two of these sessions will be classes, Potions with Professor Snape and Divination with Professor Trelawney, and the other session will be a trip to Ollivander's Wand Shop to pick out a wand.
