Stuart Country Day's Parent Coffee Talk at Princeton Playspace

Bring your kids and join Stuart at Princeton Playspace! Stuart Country Day School has partnered with Princeton Playspace to offer Parent Coffee Talks led by Michelle Dowling, Head of Lower School and Early Childhood, on issues of importance in early childhood development. On Wednesday, November 7, from 9:30 - 11:00 AM, Michelle will be speaking with parents about the new research around why girls don't think they are smart enough, how to combat they stereotypes, and why it's important to start early.

This event is free of charge. Parents are invited to join in the discussion while their children enjoy a craft, play time and snack. Register at stuartschool.org/playspace

The Rivals, the famously funny farce with Mrs. Malaprop, is now a hilarious new musical. Be the first audience to experience this Broadway-bound, world premiere with book and lyrics by two-time Tony nominee, Peter Kellogg, and music by two-time Richard Rodgers Award-winner, Stephen Weiner.

Featuring glorious music and witty repartee, The Rivals follows the travails of Lydia Languish, a young lady in possession of a large fortune, who will lose two-thirds of that fortune if she marries without her guardian, Mrs. Malaprop’s consent. But, who needs money when you’re in love? As Mrs. Malaprop would say, “It’s a musical to delight the heart and tackle the funny bone.”

On November 7th, The witty Ben Franklin is coming to the Logan Inn in New Hope PA for an exciting & historically educational evening. The Logan Inn, well known for its culinary excellence, will provide ticket holders with a colonial drink & a delicious 3-course dinner while the Witty Ben Franklin brings history to life.

Ben Franklin was a printer, diplomat, inventor, publisher, author, statesman, Postmaster, and more.

On Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 7 PM, Ohev Shalom of Bucks County in partnership with the Gershman Jewish Film Festival will premier "The Syrian Patient." 
This film was originally released in 2017 and was directed by Racheli Schwartz. Reality surpasses the imagination in this documentary that allows a look at the Syrian wounded and the Israeli doctors at a hospital in Israel, where enemies become connected, a ray of optimistic light in a harsh reality (IMDB). This will be the Philadelphia area premier of this documentary.
Ticket prices are $15 for general admission, $13 for seniors, and $7 for students with valid student IDs.
