Frank Sinatra Tribute Show Returns to the Newtown Theatre

Vocal impressionist Tony Sands will bring Frank Sinatra back to the Newtown Theatre stage on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available through TheNewtownTheatre.com. Sands last played the theatre in 2017 to a near sold-out crowd.
The show starts with Sinatra’s early days with Tommy Dorsey in New York City and later puts attendees in Madison Square Garden for his comeback. Hits performed during the show will include That's Life, Come Fly With Me, Luck Be a Lady, My Way, New York New York, and many more.
Sands’ uncanny portrayal of Sinatra’s mannerisms and voice will make you think Ol’ Blue Eyes walked off the screen and onto the stage of the Newtown Theatre.

Bucks Co. Memorial Event Planned For Synagogue Shooting Victims

A memorial service for the victims of Saturday's shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue is planned at Congregation of Brothers of Israel on Sunday, Nov. 4. Congregation of Brothers of Israel is located at 530 Washington Crossing Road, Newtown. During that service, participants will discuss anti-Semitism and what can be done about it. The events are organized by synagogues throughout Bucks County, Bucks County Rabbis and Cantors Council, Bucks County Jewish Coalition, and the Peace Center.

Newtown Theatre’s Independent Film Night

The historic Newtown Theatre will host its next Independent Film Night on Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
This event will feature 11 short films, chosen from more than 500 submitted by independent filmmakers from across the country. In the past, this event featured only locally produced films. The films being screened on Nov. 8 were chosen for their compelling stories and high production value. Some content may be inappropriate for children.
