Doylestown Arts Festival

(Saturday, September 8th & Sunday, September 9th | 10 am - 5 pm)

Don’t miss the largest outdoor, juried arts festival in Bucks County! Hosted by Discover Doylestown and presented by The Thompson Organization, the two-day festival draws thousands annually for a weekend of original art and features 160 artists showcasing their creative works. Selections include paintings, photography, jewelry, wood & metal work, furniture, pottery and more. Five stages of live music and interactive demonstrations will be featured throughout town. A variety of dining options are available.

On December 4, 1956, an unlikely quartet of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins accidentally converged on Sun Records in Memphis — and made magic in the process! Million Dollar Quartet takes you behind the music with a monumental night that explodes off the stage with a talented cast playing 21 legendary hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” and “Hound Dog.”

Black & White Dinner in Newtown

During the event, tables draped in white linens line the middle of North State Street. Upon arrival, attendees can mingle, decorate their space at the communal table and enjoy live jazz music. Dinner will begin at 7 p.m. After dinner, attendees may attend a free screening of Casablanca inside the theatre.
Attendees are asked to dress only in black and white and bring everything they need for an elegant dinner under the stars, including food and black and white décor (optional). Prizes will be awarded to the Best Dressed Man and Woman, Best Dressed Group, Most Elegant Table and Most Creative Table.
