Announcing the Newtown Theatre's annual Summer Kids' Series of FREE movies at The Newtown Theatre.

This year, each film is based on a beloved children's book. At each screening, three lucky attendees will go home with the corresponding book, donated by the Newtown Bookshop.

Join us for the stage debut of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella for Young Audiences! This unique retelling of the classic Broadway musical has been adapted by our very own Education Director, Michaela Murphy, for young audiences and will be presented by The Playhouse Youth Company!

Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella is the Tony Award®-winning musical from the creators of South Pacific and The Sound of Music that’s delighting audiences with its surprisingly contemporary take on the classic tale. This production features all the moments you love—the pumpkin, the glass slipper, the masked ball and more—plus some surprising new twists! Be transported back to your childhood as you rediscover some of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It’s Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago” in this hilarious and romantic experience for anyone who’s ever had a dream.

Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and Buy Fresh Buy Local® Bucks County continues its series of popular farm evenings that introduce consumers to the local small-scale producers who put the freshest foods onto our tables via direct sales, community-supported agriculture operations (CSAs), farmers markets, farm stands, and other venues. The farm evenings include a potluck dinner at 6 pm and a tour of the farm to follow at 7 pm.

Brett Saddington will show us around his orchard and share his orchard's history and challenges.
