Sheep to Shawl Day, Annual Sheep Shearing Event

Washington Crossing Historic Park’s annual sheep shearing event will take place on May 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Attendees can see sheep being shorn of the winter wool coats and then try their hand at the many steps it takes to turn the fleece into clothing. They will also learn about how wool was cleaned, dyed, carded, spun and woven into fabric in the 18th century. Tours of the Thompson-Neely House will also be offered. Admission is $8 for adults, $4 for children age five to 11, and free for those under five. Parking is free, and this event is held rain or shine. New Hope Celebrates Pride Parade 2018

Our Pride Parade is the highlight of our Pride Fest Weekend, taking place the third weekend in May every year. A party given by New Hope Celebrates!

Both local and national organizations “strut their stuff” through town, showing their enthusiasm, and enjoying the fun! The parade personifies our diversity and the invitation is open to all. Featuring nationally known marching bands, troops and floats, political organizations, youth groups, schools, companies, and churches.

An estimated 15,000 visitors will come to Lambertville and New Hope, staying at our inns, hotels and Bed & Breakfasts.

After the parade, you can enjoy the festivities at the Pride Fair. Rain or shine, the parade begins in Lambertville, NJ at 11:30am and crosses the Delaware River into New Hope, PA

Pride Fair opens at 12:00 Noon to the general public with local artists and retailers, and LGBT owned and operated professional services, the New Hope Pride Fair is a great opportunity to conect with your community.

Presented by the Logan Inn, New Hope Celebrates will hold their 5th Annual Pride Fair 2018. Following the Pride Parade, the fair will be held in the parking lot of the Logan Inn on Ferry St., New Hope, PA.

A fun-filled family and dog friendly event, the fair celebrates diversity. Visitors will find vendors featuring crafts, jewelry and clothing, information from local LGBT organizations, samples and giveaways. Dance to local and national performers as well as a live DJ. The Ferry Market will be open with their many food choices.

Kids Night Out, Dynamix Gymnastics

This is a drop off event, parents are not required to stay, they are encouraged to go out without the KIDS! Children will participate in gymnastics games, obstacle courses, open gym, crafts, and so much more. Kids will be separated in groups by age. Each Parents Night Out will have a theme and is scheduled on the 3rd Saturday of the month. Pizza/beverage is included.
