More details to come. We promise you will not want to miss this event!!

The Liberty Lake Foundation is something close to our hearts and youth-development aspirations: our Liberty Lake families and their children. In the past few years, we’ve generated tens of thousands of dollars for scholarships—better known as “camperships”—for children whose families would otherwise not be able to afford the camp experience. Other beneficiaries of the Foundation are the many local youth-serving organizations we support with fund-raising events and programs each year. Our annual Community Day is a ton-of-fun event held the month before camp opens for the season. Community Day is one of our largest fund-raisers, with all proceeds going to the Liberty Lake Foundation.

A Forest Bath is a contemplative walk through the woods that reconnects the individual with nature and can lead to decreased stress, natural mood elevation, and a stronger immune system. Research connects forest bathing to decreased feelings of stress and anxiety and improved perceptions of energy and vigor. Breathing in air that contains essential oils from surrounding trees can also have immune-boosting properties.
Noted botanist Ann Rhodes will describe the special qualities of our forest and lead a walk through the woods.

Come and join us for a celebration of spring in our forest!  Light refreshments served.
