Annual Wildflower Sale, April 28 & 29 ~ May 5 & 6

Start your summer planting right with Churchville Nature Center’s Annual
Wildflower Sale! We will be selling a wide variety of native perennial
wildflowers selected to attract butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and other native
wildlife to you yard. We will also be selling annuals, herbs and other plants like
in years past. We grow our plants without pesticides making them safe for the
pollinators they attract. If you are interested in promoting native flora & fauna,
then stop in to talk with our knowledgeable staff and volunteers to direct you to
the best plants to purchase for your yard! The sale will be held from 9:00am-5pm on all days.

The Bucks County Intermediate Unit (Bucks IU) Education Foundation, in partnership with the Central Bucks Sertoma Club, are hosting their 5th annual 'Run-Walk-Roll' on April 28, 2018. This family-friendly event, is perfect for runners, racers, and rookies offering a morning full of fun and activities with both an official 5K race (part of the Bucks 5K Series of races) and 1 mile 'Fun Run' perfect for beginners or families. Proceeds from this event benefit Bucks County children with hearing disabilities.

The “White House Chef Tour,” Featuring Chef Guy Mitchell & Chief Petty Officer Michael "Woody" Raber is Coming to Silver Lake Nature Center this Spring! 
Silver Lake Nature Center is very happy to announce this fun, fundraising event coming up on Saturday, April 28th, from 1 to 5pm! 

Join us for a "Presidential" afternoon with two White House Chefs as they demonstrate their culinary skills and entertain you with stories from five former Presidents, Camp David and the Pentagon. 
1 – 2 pm: Mingle and enjoy the sampling of fare provided by local restaurants. Explore opportunities to win prizes and one of the three seats at the Chef’s Table.
2 – 3:30 pm: Cooking presentation by Chef Guy and Chef Woody with Q & A.
3:30 – 4 pm: View the White House Memorabilia, take selfies & photos, and get autographs with the Chefs.
4 -5 pm: Winners of the gift baskets announced.

The Bridge Academy in Lawrenceville, NJ is a small school with a BIG mission – to teach children in grades 3-12 with language based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, to read and write. Our goal is to educate and empower students who learn differently to reach their fullest potential.
