Come join Newtown Parks and Recreation to sell/buy on Saturday, April 7th at 8:00 am! Sellers, secure your space starting at $15! Empty your storage to sell anything and everything from gently used sports equipment, clothes, to sandboxes, bikes, and jackets! Rid your houses and garages of items your family no longer use or needs! Shoppers, save the date and come out to Veteran’s Park to look for treasures at great prices! Successful Organic Backyard Gardening, Snipes Farm

Canal Clean-Up Day at Delaware Canal State Park

The Friends of the Delaware Canal sponsor this annual event to encourage volunteers to clear trash, debris, and brush from the historic waterway and towpath that runs from Easton to Bristol, PA.         
Canal Clean-Up Day activities will begin at 9 a.m. and end at noon.  Volunteers will be working all along the Canal’s 58.9-mile length, but help is especially needed in the areas listed below. 
Everyone who wants to participate should choose a location, and then contact the Area Coordinator for that section.  The Coordinator will provide all the details about the day’s activities.   The full list of the Easton to Bristol locations is posted at
