Join us for our "Green, Eggs, and Ham Breakfast" on March 3rd 2018. There will be two seatings. 9am - 10 am , 10 am to 11am. 

There will be lots of food thanks to Chive Cafe! They have crafted the perfect breakfast menu for all ages to enjoy, of course featuring their signature green scrambled eggs! Drinks will be provided as well. 

After filling your tummies, sit down and relax with Lahaska Bookshop in a book reading. Some of your favortie classics will be read! 

We ask for this event a book be donated to promote readings as we celebrate National Read Across America Day with our belove children's author Dr. Suess.

We wish to provide the resources and activities to help keep reading on the calendar 365 days a year!

3rd Annual Women’s History Consortium

The third annual Women’s History Consortium, hosted by Mrs. Boice’s Historie Academie, will be held at Washington Crossing Historic Park on March 3 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Join us for a day of engaging and insightful presentations on some of the details of home life for colonial women in the late 18th century.

Period clothing is encouraged but not required. The program and various workshops will be held rain or shine. Cost is $75 and includes a general site tour at 4:00 PM. Registration fee includes a resource packet, light breakfast, lunch featuring historically-inspired dishes, and a tour.

Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling will perform at the Newtown Theatre on Saturday, March 3, at 8 PM (doors open at 7 PM). 

Jackie Martling is a stand-up comedian, writer, radio personality, author and actor, best known as the former head writer for The Howard Stern Show from 1983 to 2001. He's released a number of comedy albums, a music album, and two books. He continues to perform stand-up and hosted a Sirius XM Satellite Radio show from 2006-2014 called Jackie's Joke Hunt.
