Bus Trip To New York City, The Nutcracker at Lincoln Center

A motorcoach bus will leave from the Northampton Township Admin. Bldg. parking lot at
8:00 A.M. Upon arrival in New York City, there will be an opportunity to take in the sites at Rockefeller Center and holiday windows. You can either take this stop or take the second drop off location near Columbus Circle/Lincoln Center area to visit the iconic Central Park locations and sightseeing opportunities. Restaurants, shopping & sites are within walking distance at both drop-off locations. Brunch/ Lunch is on your own. 
From either location, meet back at Lincoln Center for the 1:30 pm performance of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker® as Tschaikovsky's iconic score whisks you away on a heartwarming adventure through the eyes of the pint-sized heroine Marie on her journey to a fantastical land made entirely of candy.The New York City Ballet's annual production is at the heart of New York City's year-end holiday season. Whether it is a family tradition or a once-in-a-lifetime visit, your experience of this glittering classical ballet will stay with you forever and warm your spirit. From the moment the lights dim, you will be transported to a magical place filled with adorable children, marching toy soldiers, a glowing one-ton Christmas tree that seemingly grows forever, mischievous mice, crystalline waltzing snowflakes, the Land of Sweets and some of the most breathtaking costumes, sets and dancing on earth. The Nutcracker will warm your heart, from the scurry of giant mice, the enormous Christmas tree, waltzing snowflakes, decadent Land of Sweets... It's no wonder why The Nutcracker has become an essential part of the holiday season for so many!
The show has a running time of 2 hours, with time to visit the lobby store before boarding the bus at approx. 4:30 pm for the return trip. ALL meals & additional attractions will be on your own.

The Doylestown Bookshop is excited to host jkidphilly and the Chabad Lubavitch of Doylestown for Chanukah stories and cookies on Sunday, December 3rd at 1:00pm.
This is a great way to kickoff Chanukah with other local families. We will be collecting books to be donated to the Bucks County Housing Group. Please feel free to bring or a buy a book at the store to donate.

Bolton Mansion Holiday House & Photos with Santa

The Holiday House features all the rooms in the mansion decorated for the holidays and the fireplaces are ready! From the front door to the bake oven there is a stir of activity. Featuring a decorated nine-foot; Musical Visitors; Gift Shop; Hot Cider; Baked Goods; Candy, etc. Come see Santa in the Blue Room. There will be Hearth Cooking as you walk to the rear of the house and finally Candle making thin the Bake Oven. All are waiting for your visit!
Friday, December 1 is the Tree Lighting and Caroling from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. Santa will be here too!
Saturday, December 2 is Hearth Cooking, Candle Making and Picture with Santa from 2:30 to 7:30 pm.
Sunday, December 3 will feature pictures with Santa from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
Admission is Adults $5.00; Children 12 and under $2.00.

NBA presents McCaffrey’s Newtown Holiday Parade 2017

This parade is a huge event that continues to provide a magical experience for the whole community.  Hosted each year by the Newtown Business Association, it is a great opportunity for local business to get involved and for families to line the streets to watch a spectacular event.  Last year over 50 groups participated, totaling over 1800 people.  Come out and find a comfy spot to watch this amazing event on Sunday, December 3, 2017.  The parade promptly kicks off at 2PM from South State Street at the Stocking Works.  It then continues north to Washington Avenue and makes a left turn, then turns right onto Sycamore Street.  The Parade eventually ends at the corner of Sycamore Street and Durham Road.

Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

Shady Brook Farm 23rd Annual Holiday Light Show is OPEN NIGHTLY FROM NOVEMBER 18, 2017 TO JANUARY 7, 2018!

Experience the magic of more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland at Shady Brook Farm’s Holiday Light Show! Encounter whimsical displays and familiar characters as you drive through in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show on an open air wagon ride (weather permitting). The two mile trail takes about 20 min. to drive through if you’re taking your time to enjoy the sights (on a non-busy night).

Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and cook up s’mores at a toasty bonfire (cocoa, s’mores kits, and more treats available for purchase in the Farm Market.) The new Stone's Throw Pub and Uncle Dave's Ice Cream will also be open.

Visit and have your photo taken with Santa (at the Farm Market) and pick out the perfect Christmas tree while you’re here!

Please be patient and allow extra time to enter the Light Show due to the high volume of visitors on weekends and around holidays.
