2nd Annual Holiday Festival of Food with 20+ food related vendors, themed raffle baskets, gift card (Silent Auction), homemade soups (to go) and demonstrations. On Saturday, meet Julia Child (Linda Kenyon) from 1:30-3:30 PM. Enjoy a light lunch. A carol-sing-along at 4 PM with outside tree lighting at 4:30 PM followed by cookies and hot cocoa. Admission $3.

Children ages 3 to 7 are invited to Newtown Township's annual  "Candy Cane Hunt!"

General Information --

10am to 11am at Roberts Ridge Park, Newtown Borough
Santa will officially start the candy cane hunt; refreshments after.
Please remember to dress for the weather and bring a camera for candid photos with Santa.
Parents must walk their children down to the designated areas, but please stay behind the fence.
Participants must pre-register (online or call the office) for this event.

*For the hunt, children will be divided into two groups:  Ages 3 & 4 and ages 5 to 7

Join local artisan Nichole Gerding of Thankful Sage Farm School in the park visitor center for a discussion of early Pennsylvania Christmas customs and a hands-on lesson on colonial wreath-making. The wreaths made in this workshop will be hung on the buildings in the Taylorsville Village throughout the Christmas season.

Bolton Mansion Holiday House & Santa Visit

Now in its 6th year, An American Celtic Christmas has become Philadelphia's most anticipated holiday show; a family friendly tradition for thousands of families in the Philadelphia area. An American Celtic Christmas features live rock, dance and Irish music combined with traditional dancing, a state of the art light show, as well as a visit from Santa Clause. This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Bensalem Education Foundation and the Ryan K. Wilson Scholarship Fund. Irish apparel vendors, food and The Claddagh Fund will be on site so plan on doing some shopping.

Parade starts at the American Legion and turns right onto west Afton Avenue, then Left to Buttonwood Park.
The event starts at 3:30 and runs until all children have seen Santa, Mrs Claus and their elves!
The parade is a prefect event for family and friends to come together and enjoy the holiday season!

Shady Brook Farm 23rd Annual Holiday Light Show is OPEN NIGHTLY FROM NOVEMBER 18, 2017 TO JANUARY 7, 2018!

Experience the magic of more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland at Shady Brook Farm’s Holiday Light Show! Encounter whimsical displays and familiar characters as you drive through in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show on an open air wagon ride (weather permitting). The two mile trail takes about 20 min. to drive through if you’re taking your time to enjoy the sights (on a non-busy night).

Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and cook up s’mores at a toasty bonfire (cocoa, s’mores kits, and more treats available for purchase in the Farm Market.) The new Stone's Throw Pub and Uncle Dave's Ice Cream will also be open.

Visit and have your photo taken with Santa (at the Farm Market) and pick out the perfect Christmas tree while you’re here!

Please be patient and allow extra time to enter the Light Show due to the high volume of visitors on weekends and around holidays.

Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.
