Two Town Turkey Trot!
5K run & 1 Mile Health Walk
Lambertville – New Hope Thanksgiving 2017

The race wil start promptly at 8 a.m. at the Lambertville Station. Runners are encouraged to arrive no later than 7:30 am and will be running rain, shine, or snow. Starting and ending in downtown Lambertville, the course will take runners across the historic and charming Lambertville-New Hope Bridge, through the streets of bustling and festive downtown New Hope, back across the bridge and through Lambertville’s historic downtown business district. Runners will be electronically chip timed, all participants who pre-register will receive a commemorative race shirt and medal. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. 

Proceeds will support the Chambers’ programs and Fisherman’s Mark, a local non-profit organization that serves those in need in all of the Delaware River Towns communities. Race begins at 11 Bridge St. (Lambertville Station Parking Lot)

Shady Brook Farm 23rd Annual Holiday Light Show is OPEN NIGHTLY FROM NOVEMBER 18, 2017 TO JANUARY 7, 2018!

Experience the magic of more than 3 million lights illuminating acres of farmland at Shady Brook Farm’s Holiday Light Show! Encounter whimsical displays and familiar characters as you drive through in the comfort of your own car or enjoy the show on an open air wagon ride (weather permitting). The two mile trail takes about 20 min. to drive through if you’re taking your time to enjoy the sights (on a non-busy night).

Warm up with a cup of hot cocoa and cook up s’mores at a toasty bonfire (cocoa, s’mores kits, and more treats available for purchase in the Farm Market.) The new Stone's Throw Pub and Uncle Dave's Ice Cream will also be open.

Visit and have your photo taken with Santa (at the Farm Market) and pick out the perfect Christmas tree while you’re here!

Please be patient and allow extra time to enter the Light Show due to the high volume of visitors on weekends and around holidays.

Free Showing of “The Sound of Music” at the Newtown Theatre on Thanksgiving Night

Eat Thanksgiving dinner, throw the leftovers in the fridge, pack up the family and bring them to The Newtown Theatre to watch a special free showing of the “The Sound of Music” on Thursday, Nov. 23 at 7 p.m. 
This 1965 classic stars Julie Andrews as Maria, a nun who leaves her Austrian convent to become governess to the children of a Naval officer widower. This movie is part of the theatre’s Classic Film Series, which is supported by Harris Comfort.   The theatre is located at 120 N. State Street in Newtown Borough.
