LMT Parks and Rec Special Events, 2022

August 6, 2022 5-K Any Way Color Run Event
This race benefits the Parks directly. Lower Makefield Township has been working together with the Disability Advisory Committee and the Lower Makefield Township Community Fund to make all the Township Parks up to date and accessible for users.

August 27, 2022 LMT Community Day
This is our biggest Community Event of the year! The Day is full of activity and includes vendors, community groups, Live Music, a 3v3 basketball tournament, food trucks, rides and games.

September 18, 2022 19th Annual 9/11 Garden of Reflection - 5K Run/Walk at Memorial Park
This Race benefits the Lower Makefield Township Garden of Reflection endowment fund to help preserve the Garden of Reflection memorial for future generations. To learn more about this fund please visit https://www.9-11memorialgarden.org/

October 7, 2022: Family Fun Halloween Costume Party
This event is a Free Family Fun Event with a DJ and Monster Mashing, Games, Activities, and lots of Fun!

November 4, 2022: Race the Course - 5K/10K at Makefield Highlands Golf Course

November 5, 2022- 16th Annual Veteran’s Parade and Ceremony - Edgewood Rd/Veterans Square Monument
Our parade honors all our local Veteran’s with a 45-minute parade down Edgewood Rd. that culminates in a Ceremony that honors a selected Parade Marshal and several area veterans.

December 3, 2022 Holiday Family Fun/ Craft Fair
