Help George Washington celebrate his 293rd birthday! Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) invites artists 12 and younger to enter our Let’s Draw George Washington contest.
First, draw a picture of George Washington. You can draw Washington at any age, in any historical situation. Or give him a brand-new portrait that could be hung in an art gallery. Be creative! Washington himself and Washington Crossing Historic Park staff will evaluate all entries.
Please note that we’re looking for drawings that can be framed and displayed on a wall, not three-dimensional artwork.
When your historical masterpiece is ready, neatly write the following information on the back of the drawing:
To submit your artwork, bring the finished product to George Washington’s birthday party on February 16. If you can’t attend, mail your entry before the party to:

All submissions must be received on or before Washington’s birthday party on February 16. Entries that do not include the artist’s name, address, phone number and age on the back will not be considered for prizes. Please do not submit entries via email or social media.
