Wrightstown Farmers Market

Saturday May 30, 2020
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Saturday, May 30th  9-12 PM (9-10 for seniors and those with underlying health issues).

Please note: we have adjusted and streamlined some of the market rules to make it easier for you to shop, including allowing cash exchanges and plenty of onsite shopping at most of our vendors. Please review the customer guidelines found on our website.

Our produce vendors have a continually growing variety of veggies. Right now, in addition to strawberries and asparagus, there are delicious salad greens, carrots, radishes, hakurei turnips. kale, microgreens, and more! Visit each of their pre-order websites and/or visit them all on Saturday - there will be more variety at the market than on their pre-order sites, due to veggies maturing late in the week. Our produce vendors are Blooming Glen Farm, Promised Land Natural Farm and Rolling Hills Farm.

Blooming Glen Farm
Now is the time to start your own garden! BGF has a wide selection of vegetable and herb seedlings.

Macungie Mountain Herb Farm
Now offering full of flavor cold Pasta Salads featuring fresh herbs grown on the farm. This week they are cooking up Penne Pasta in a Lemon Vinaigrette with a pesto of Sun Dried Tomatoes, Fruity Olive Oil, Garden Fresh Garlic, Fresh Basil and Fennel Fronds, tossed with sautéed Asparagus and Exotic Mushrooms, sprinkled with Asiago Cheese. Go to or call Joyce at 917-288-3936 to order.

Naturally at Holben Valley Farm
New for this week are short ribs, round roast and London broil. So, grill up when the sun hits, and slow cook the ribs on those stormy days. See below for complete list, pricing and ordering information.

Primordia Mushroom Farm
Primordia has some wonderful news to share: they received notice last week that they have been approved for a USDA REAP grant for their whole farm solar electric installation! They still have a bit of paperwork and pre-installation preparation to do, but by the end of this year, they should be able to generate most if not all of their electricity on site with the power of the sun. Mushroom farms are electricity hogs- requiring a lot of power to run automated environmental systems that regulate temperature, humidity, oxygen levels, light levels, etc. So this system will reduce the carbon footprint of the farm significantly, and also ease the cost of what has often been a staggering electric bill.
