Monument Bank Gives $500 Donation to BCHIP

Monument Bank’s 10-month charitable giving campaign continued with a $500 donation to the Bucks County Health Improvement Partnership (BCHIP). The check presentation ceremony was held June 22, 2017 at Monument Bank’s Newtown branch.

The $500 Donation Will Help BCHIP Provide Basic Health Services to Uninsured Bucks County Residents

BCHIP has been providing low-income, uninsured Bucks County residents with access to basic health services for more than two decades. The BCHIP Adult Health Clinic offers medical care for acute and chronic illness, routine physical exams and more. Other BCHIP services include the Children’s Dental Program, Quit Smoking Programs, Opioid Overdose Survivors Programs, Advance Care Planning Assistance, and Wellness Partnership Initiatives.

“We’re very grateful and honored to receive this donation from Monument Bank, which has always been such a strong supporter of BCHIP events and programs,” said Eric Stark, BCHIP Executive Director. “Our Adult Health Clinic has become the primary healthcare office for more than 1,000 patients, many of whom would otherwise go to the emergency room or go without care. Monument Bank’s support will help us continue to provide free services that save lives in our community.”
