Fall Weekends at Snipes Farm

There is so much to do at Snipes Farm every Saturday and Sunday through October 29! 

Check out our Farm Museum, take a hayride out to our orchard to visit the pumpkin patch or pick apples, visit with our barnyard animals, explore our Forest-themed Corn Maze. Visit our Cider Barn where you can purchase fresh-pressed apple cider, pies, candy and caramel apples, and apple cider doughnuts! In October, our Food for Thought Cafe will be serving up organic hot dogs, organic coffee, pickles-on-a-stick, and more!

All proceeds from our Fall Weekends support Snipes Farm and Education Center's mission to model and teach sustainable farming while building community and reconnecting people to the land.

Admission is $8 per person, ages 2 and up.

Open September 23 - October 29

Saturdays from 9am - 6pm

Sundays from 10am - 5pm

Fall is our favorite time of year around here…come join in the harvest at PumpkinFest!

Fun includes wagon rides to the apple orchard (when in season) &/or pumpkin patch, apple picking, pumpkin picking, a Johnny Appleseed-themed corn maze, jumping pillows, inflatable attractions, the ALL NEW Sports Challenge and lots more festival fun. Last wagon ride leaves at 4pm, field closes at 5pm. Admission is $16/person, pyo apples are $1.29/lb., pyo pumpkins are $0.69/lb.

Mandala Band

Mandala Band will perform the eighth concert of the Music at St. Philip’s 2017 season at 3 p.m. on Sunday, October 22, in the historic St. Philip’s Episcopal Church at 10 Chapel Road in New Hope PA.

Mandala Band brings together accomplished instrumentalists and vocalists to create intricate world devotional music. They combine Indian, Turkish, Celtic and Gregorian chant music that evokes lofty cathedrals and echoing choral performances. Combined with the unique tones of a harmonium pump organ, their precise vocals produce a stunning, soaring sound.

The October 22 concert will feature a special All Hallows program.

All the concerts are scheduled for Sundays at 3 p.m. Admission is free and the concerts are open to the public. Donations for the performers and St. Philip’s will be gratefully accepted.

1925’s “Phantom of the Opera” At the Newtown Theatre

Moviegoers will be transported back in time on Sunday, Oct. 22 when the Newtown Theatre screens the 1925 silent film “The Phantom of the Opera.” This early and eerie horror film will feature a live piano score by professional silent film accompanist Bernie Anderson Jr. 

Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $10 for general admission and are available at the door. The theatre is located at 120 N. State St. in Newtown Borough. This movie is part of the theatre’s 2017 Silent Film Series.
