Peace Fair, Buckingham Friends

Dedicated to promoting harmony in the home, the community, the environment, and the world

The Peace Fair provides a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere in which adults and children can learn about how others promote peaceful relations in their organizations and their own lives.  The Fair is nonsectarian and nonpartisan, and seeks to attract people of all beliefs from all walks of life. 
Dozens of information tables from organizations with peace-related messages and missions
Non-competitive Fun for Children: human-powered Peace Train, Fish Pond, Beanbag Toss, Darts for Peace, face painting
Family-friendly live musical entertainment, including Jonathan Sprout, EcoMan (kids' songs), and Tookany Creek (blue grass band)
Food including hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers
Crafts by local artisans, Gently used book sale.

New Hope Arts and Crafts Festival

Featuring more than 160 local and national artists and craftspeople. $1 admission. Rain or shine. In addition to the artists market, the festival includes family-friendly events such as face painting, a magician Evan Myles, a children's art tent, a food court, and Janet Spahr playing exotic hand pan music.
